Getting a good photo of these three together during today's photo session was not possible but they certainly do love to cuddle together and no photo can do justice. Come see them for yourself! Mama (who has a beautifully angular face with soft markings and is sporting the stylish tweed jacket) is a sweet, calm adult lady with impeccable litter box habits. She truly deserves a loving, forever home after all she's been through. She was surrendered emaciated and dehydrated and birthed 3 large litters in 3 months. She has come a long, long way. She would make the perfect free ranged house bun. She is very clean, not a zealous chewer and very quiet and mellow. She does not tolerate being held, but loves to be gently cuddled and kissed and will softly "tooth purr" her appreciation. And, she will let you message her all over, from her nose to the tips of her toes while she sprawls out flat on the floor and closes her eyes. She would like to live in a quiet household where she can lounge and relax with you on the sofa and basque in gentle affection. Guinevere (soft markings, rounder face and quite a bit smaller than Mama, wearing the silver tiara) takes after her mother in her quiet ways and is also the smallest of all her babies. We were not sure little Guini was going to make it through the night in foster care when she came to us at 2 days old. She's been with us since that day in May, xxxx and was partially bottle fed like all her litter mates. She seems to be a wise old soul in a young bunny's body and she has blossomed into a beautiful young bun who loves her Mama and likes to give soft bunny kisses to her foster mom and dad. Starky (also called Star and has the boldest, darkest black markings of this lovely trio) prefers the company of her mom and sister over that of humans but she is very curious does like to climb on you and explore. She would likely become more confident with people if given more one on one attention since she is so curious about us humans. When's she's ready to relax, she cuddles with Mama and Guinevere in the smallest places possible so they are all squished together - very cute. These three absolutely adore each other and are always grooming and cuddling together. They enjoy tossing toys, chewing willow and hanging out in boxes and climbing on them and lounging on soft things. They all have good litter box habits and all have been spayed. Mama and Starky weigh about 10lbs, while little Guinevere weighs about 8.5lbs. They are a source of confidence and assurance for one another and would be a blessing for a person with a calm and quiet household. Bunnies are very social animals, they aren't meant to be outside in a hutch alone. Children must be supervised when handling rabbits. A child's natural exuberance frightens these small prey animal and could cause them serious injury.
